پارلمان اروپا روز پنجشنبه ۱۹ ژانویه (۲۹ دیماه) با اکثریت آراء قرار گرفتن سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی در فهرست سازمانهای تروریستی را تصویب کرد.

پارلمان اروپا در قطعنامه خود تأکید کرده سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی شامل (شبهنظامیان بسیج و نیروهای برونمرزی سپاه قدس و نیروی هوافضا و نیروی دریایی سپاه) نقش محوری در سرکوب مخالفان داخلی و فعالان سیاسی خارج از ایران دارند و این در حالیست که دو سوم اقتصاد ایران تحت سلطه این نهاد نظامی است.
در قطعنامه پارلمان اروپا از کشورهای عضو اتحادیه خواسته شد صدور ویزا و رسیدگی به درخواست پناهندگی افرادی که به خاطر اعتراضات مجبور به ترک ایران شدند تسهیل شود.
نمایندگان پارلمان اروپا تأکید کردند سرویس اقدام خارجی اروپا (EEAS) باید با کشورهای همسایه ایران تماس بگیرد که گذرگاههای مرزی را برای فعالان سیاسی باز بگذارند تا آنهایی که مجبور به ترک ایران شده و میشوند بدانند که با خیال راحت میتوانند در کشورهای اروپایی تقاضای پناهندگی کنند.
این برای نخستینبار است که یک نهاد نظامی وابسته به یک دولت به دلیل سرکوب و کشتار مردم آن کشور و همکاری با یک دولت خارجی برای تجاوز به خاک یک کشور مستقل در فهرست سازمانهای تروریستی قرار میگیرد.
قطعنامه صادر شده دو محور اصلی دارد:
۱)سپاه به لیست سازمانهای تروریستی اضافه و تحریمها علیه جمهوری اسلامی گستردهتر شود
۲)از معترضان در ایران باید حمایت شود. همچنین نمایندگان پارلمان اروپا خواستار توقف اعدامها در ایران شدهاند.
قطعنامه پارلمان اروپا با استناد به گزارشهای نهادهای حقوق بشری از جمله بیانیه دفتر کمیساریای عالی حقوق بشر سازمان ملل» در مورد وضعیت حقوق انسانی در ایران و با توجه به دلایلی که باعث تحریمهای شدید دولتهای غربی علیه جمهوری اسلامی و مقامات سرکوبگر شده بود صادر شد که از موارد مشخص آن اعدام معترضان بازداشتی و سرکوبهای وحشیانه و شکنجه و تجاوز علیه مردم است.
در این قطعنامه آمده پس از قتل مهسا امنیتی در بازداشت «گشت ارشاد» اقشار مختلف مردم اعم از دانشجویان و دانشآموزان و زنان دست به اعتراض مسالمتآمیز زدند اما با واکنش نیروهای سرکوبگر رژیم مواجه شدند.
پارلمان اروپا در قطعنامه خود تأکید کرده سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی شامل (شبهنظامیان بسیج و نیروهای برونمرزی سپاه قدس و نیروی هوافضا و نیروی دریایی سپاه) نقش محوری در سرکوب مخالفان داخلی و فعالان سیاسی خارج از ایران دارند و این در حالیست که دو سوم اقتصاد ایران تحت سلطه این نهاد نظامی است. همچنین در این قطعنامه آمده سپاه پاسداران با روسیه در تجاوز به اوکراین همکاری کرده است.
نمایندگان پارلمان اروپا به تقضیل دلایل خود را برای شناسایی سپاه به عنوان سازمان تروریستی اعلام کردند که یکی از آنها بهم زدن صلح و ثبات منطقه توسط سپاه و شبهنظامیان وابسته به رژیم ایران است.
در قطعنامه پارلمان اروپا از کشورهای عضو اتحادیه خواسته شد صدور ویزا و رسیدگی به درخواست پناهندگی افرادی که به خاطر اعتراضات مجبور به ترک ایران شدهاند تسهیل شود.
