Chemical attacks on Iranian schools have continued on the first day of the week, Saturday, March 13. Students’ families held protest rallies in several cities including Tehran, Isfahan, Rasht and Ardabil and chanted slogans against the government.
New Universe:
Most of the attacks have been on girls’ high schools, but in some cases, attacks have also occurred on boys’ high schools and dormitories of female students.
The extent of these attacks in several provinces and dozens of cities in Iran shows that these attacks are the work of a professional group with reliable support, and it is not possible for a few people to arbitrarily be able to simultaneously support and confidently carry out such attacks in cities with large distances.
According to documentary reports, after the chemical attack, students were forced to remain silent, stay at school and not contact their parents. These actions have intensified the possibility that terrorist attacks in schools are being carried out by the government itself or a part of its body. Especially, in the very first attack on 9 Azar in the “Noor” Girls’ Conservatory in Qom, the issue of “security” was raised.
Today, Saturday, March 13, families in the cities of Tehran, Isfahan, Rasht and Ardabil gathered in front of education and chanted slogans against the Islamic Republic.
Ahmad Karimi Esfahani, member of the central council of Mutalfa Party: I am arguing that these poisonings are actually real. These are not proven and are only in virtual space!
Chemical attacks on the country’s schools under the name of “terrorist attacks” and “biological attacks” are spreading rapidly and have also targeted elementary school students in the past days. Most of the attacks have been on girls’ high schools, but in some cases, attacks have also occurred on boys’ high schools and dormitories of female students.
These attacks started three months ago on the 9th of December 1401 in Qom, and after weeks of denial and silence, the Islamic Republic finally accepted the “intentionality” of the “chemical” attacks, but did not take any measures to prevent these attacks and identify the perpetrators. Is. The indifference of the Islamic Republic, while the security institutions and radical forces of the Islamic Republic are among the accused of these attacks in the public opinion, has caused the anger of the parents of the students and other citizens.
The number of attacks on schools has increased every day and has reached more than 30 schools per day. On the other hand, the geographical scope of the attacks has also increased in a strange way, so that during the first weeks, only the schools of Qom were targeted, but now the schools of several provinces of Iran and even small towns are being attacked.
Students of “Shahed Noor Al-Zahra” school in Urmia, “Hamze Rifati” school in Rasht, “Jamaluddin Asadabadi” school in Abdul Abad, Tehran, “Hojjat” primary school and “Esmat” high school in Safadasht district of Mallard city, “Mohajer” high school in Karaj, “Tawhid” high school for girls Shahryar, “Abrishmi Kashani” high school, Mahalat city, “Tajgerdoun” school, Lahijan, Khorabad village high school, Kohk district, Qom, “Hassan Al-A’an” primary school, Karaj, “Masoumeh” high school in Kermanshah, “Shaheed Fahmideh” primary school, Qom, a boys’ primary school in Mehrovila, Karaj A girls’ high school in Kovar city of Fars province, a school in Hamadan, a school in Kabudrahang are among the schools that were attacked by biological attacks on Saturday morning, during which hundreds of students went to the hospital.
The extent of these attacks in several provinces and dozens of cities in Iran shows that these attacks are the work of a professional group with reliable support, and it is not possible for a few people to arbitrarily be able to simultaneously support and confidently carry out such attacks in cities with large distances.
All this while the indifference of the Islamic Republic with its claim of “authority” and “the supreme power of the region” has added to public anger. It is noteworthy that a significant budget is allocated every year as a “maintenance of order and public security” budget, but in such a critical situation, there is no news of the formation of a crisis management team, nor of any effective measures by security and defense institutions!
According to the budget bill 1401, which is related to this year’s budgets, 57.8 thousand billion tomans have been allocated under the title of “maintaining order and public security”. In the 1402 budget bill, this budget has increased by 7.38% to 80.2 thousand billion tomans. It seems that maintaining the order of schools and the general safety of students is not so valuable for the Islamic Republic that it can quickly neutralize these terrorist attacks in schools by using this budget. It is not known what negative effects the attacks will have on the students’ health.
The Islamic Republic has not even taken any action to inform students and their parents about the necessary measures in case of poisoning. Even according to documented reports, in some schools after a chemical attack, students have been forced to remain silent, stay at school and not contact their parents. These actions have intensified the possibility that terrorist attacks in schools are being carried out by the government itself or a part of its body. Especially, in the very first attack on 9 Azar in the “Noor” Girls’ Conservatory in Qom, the issue of “security” was raised.
Apart from inaction and indifference towards these attacks, the authorities of the Islamic Republic are also busy projecting and wasting time. This issue has caused the anger of families and today, Saturday 13 March, families gathered in the cities of Tehran, Isfahan, Rasht and Ardabil in front of education and chanted slogans against the Islamic Republic.
“You are our ISIS Basiji Army”, “We don’t want incompetent officials, we don’t want them”, “Death to the Taliban, whether Iran or Afghanistan”, “Our enemy is right here, they are lying, it is America” and “Aha aha sitters, you are the next poisoned” among the slogans of the people in Today’s gatherings were in different cities.
Ahmad Karimi Esfahani, a member of the central council of Mutalfa party, said in response to the poisoning of schoolgirls: “Basically, I am debating whether these poisonings are real at all. These have not been proven and are only in the virtual space.
Ahmad Hossein Fallahi, a member of the Education and Research Commission of the Islamic Council, explained that “Last week, in the Health and Education Commissions, we invited the Ministers of Education, Health and Information to give their explanations on this issue, but the Minister of Information did not come and sent his deputy.” The members of the parliament were not satisfied with the explanations of the ministers regarding the poisoning of the students, because this issue has continued, while the view of the parliament is that the factors of this issue should be identified as soon as possible and they should be dealt with seriously.
Morteza Khatami, the vice-chairman of the Health and Treatment Commission of the Islamic Council, also said about the latest information obtained about these serial poisonings that “examinations by specialists, sampling and tests show that the cause of poisoning is inhalation.”
Morteza Khatami stated that the cause of students’ poisoning may be one or a combination of several types of gas, adding that “N2 gas present in this group does not justify the symptoms and clinical manifestations, but other gases that have been isolated in these environments cause symptoms including limb numbness.” It justifies.”
Dizziness, headache, shortness of breath, muscle cramps and numbness, and neurological symptoms have been reported among those who were poisoned, and the symptoms of poisoning were so severe in some students that they were admitted to the ICU.
Government news agencies reported that last week a special team of toxicologists, forensic medicine, neurologists and chemists was formed by the order of the Ministry of Interior, which started the investigation and the results will be announced soon.
“Hame Mihan” newspaper reported that “Doctors and nurses are afraid to provide any information about the injured who were taken to their hospital. Most of the nurses don’t want to talk and doctors give short explanations about what happened. They are worried about the consequences of this notification and possible actions from the hospital managers. Although some say, they were told not to talk or give information; The orders that are said to have come from higher authorities and from the Ministry of Health itself. “None of the officials of this ministry are willing to give an interview and provide an explanation about what happened.”
In this report, it is emphasized that “the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health does not answer the phone and other officials do not have the permission to interview about this issue and they refer the matter to the recent talks of the Minister of Health about this issue. On the 9th of March, Bahram Ainullahi, the Minister of Health, announced that the poisoning of the students was caused by a mild poison that did not cause any complications to anyone and the people had symptoms of lethargy and weakness for several hours.
The news received from the hospitals, however, is not as announced by the Minister of Health, and it is said that the poisonings were not so mild. So that in only one case, the student has been hospitalized in the poisoning ICU of Firouzgar Hospital since Wednesday, and his treatment is still ongoing.
In the “Hame Mihan” report, quoting Dr. Mohammad Reza Hashemian, a specialist in the special care department of “Mesih Deneshvari” hospital, it is stated, “Although the Minister of Health announced that this poisoning was mild, it must be emphasized that this is a serious issue. The source of this poisoning should be determined as soon as possible so that doctors can use its antidote and know what medicine to use to treat poisoned people.”
According to Dr. Mohammad Reza Hashemian, in some reports, people have experienced muscle numbness or temporary paralysis. In any case, the matter is serious and can cause even more severe effects such as kidney and lung problems: “This matter should not be taken lightly. The officials of the Ministry of Health should report on this and should not pass this issue too easily. We are at the beginning of the story and we need to know what happened. “The Ministry of Health should tell us what is going on and what gas is being released.”
