دولت بایدن از بریتانیا خواسته سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی را در فهرست گروه‌های تروریستی قرار دهد

دولت جو بایدن با صراحت از متحدان خود می‌خواهد که سپاه پاسداران را که یک تشکیلات تروریستی امنیتی مرتبط با حکومت ایران است در فهرست سازمان‌های تروریستی قرار دهد.

برخی منابع گزارش دادند مقامات ارشد آمریکایی «بطور خصوصی» همتایان بریتانیایی خود را برای قرار دادن سپاه را در لیست تروریستی تشویق کرده‌اند.

در همین ارتباط ماتیو میلر سخنگوی وزارت خارجه آمریکا گفت: «این موضعی است که ما بارها آن را روشن کرده‌ایم. آنها اقدام به تأمین مالی فعالیت‌های تروریستی می‌کنند… فکر می‌کنیم که سایر کشورها باید سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی را در فهرست سازمان‌های تروریستی قرار دهند.» این اظهارات عمومی در یک نشست توجیهی در واشنگتن مطرح شد.

هفته گذشته چندین نماینده محافظه‌کار در بریتانیا علناً از ریشی سوناک نخست وزیر انگلیس خواستند که در این مورد اقدام کند.

رابین سیمکوکس رئیس کمیسیون مبارزه با افراط‌گرایی در بریتانیا گفت اینکه اعضا و حامیان این گروه قانونی باقی بمانند موضوعی «ناپایدار» است.

لیام فاکس وزیر دفاع سابق انگلستان در مورد ضرورت اعلام فوری سپاه پاسداران به عنوان یک سازمان تروریستی گفت: «اگر می‌خواهیم نفوذ خود را در منطقه حفظ کنیم، بریتانیا نباید از رویدادها عقب بماند.»

وی خطاب به سوناک گفت: «آیا وقت آن نیست که ما در این کشور دوباره بپرسیم: چرا بانک‌های [رژیم] ایران بانک صادرات و بانک ملّی خارج از لندن فعالیت می‌کنند؟ آنها در انتقال پول به حماس نقش داشتند. چرا ایران‌ایر خارج از فرودگاه هیثرو فعالیت می‌کند؟ و چرا سپاه را ممنوع نکرده‌ایم؟ من اعتقاد دارم باید این کار را بکنیم.»

اعضای ارشد حماس به «وال استریت ژورنال» گفته بودند که نیروهای سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی با این گروه همکاری داشتند. علی فدوی جانشین فرمانده کل سپاه نیز گفته است: «ضربات جبهه مقاومت به رژیم‌ صهیونیستی تا ریشه‌کن شدن این غده سرطانی از روی نقشه جهان ادامه خواهد داشت.»

الی کوهن وزیر خارجه اسرائیل در مطلبی برای تلگراف نوشته بود: «رژیم آیت‌الله از حماس از نظر نظامی، مالی و سیاسی حمایت می‌کند. رژیم ایران در حال دامن زدن به جنگ است و تلاش می‌کند از طریق نماینده دیگرش، حزب‌الله جبهه دیگری را در لبنان علیه اسرائیل باز کند… همه آنها برای نابودی اسرائیل تلاش می‌کنند تا [رژیم] ایران را قادر سازد کل خاورمیانه را به تصرف خود درآورد و انقلاب اسلامی بتواند ستیزه‌جویی خود را به سمت مدیترانه، اروپا و سراسر جهان گسترش دهد.»

این هشدارها در حالیست که ریشی سوناک نیز هشدار داده است که  اسرائیل از سوی حزب‌الله لبنان با تهدید روبروست.

سوناک پس از دیدار با رهبران اسرائیل، مصر، عربستان سعودی، قطر و تشکیلات خودگردان فلسطین در «تلگراف» نوشت: «این قتل‌ عام با یک نفرت شیطانی تحریک شد. این قتل‌عام از ترس این بود که ممکن است طلوع جدیدی در خاورمیانه آغاز شود و نفرت‌های قدیمی را پشت سر بگذارد و امید به زندگی بهتر، امن‌تر و مرفه‌تر در سراسر منطقه ایجاد کند. در این سفر، مصمم بودم که امید به آینده‌ای بهتر را زنده نگه دارم.»

تحلیلگران معتقدند که حماس از جمله برای جلوگیری از تحقق «پیمان ابراهیم» و برقراری روابط عادی میان اسرائیل و عربستان سعودی دست به چنین حمله بی‌سابقه و جنایتکارانه‌ای زده است تا اسرائیل را به واکنش شدید وادارد و از این راه دولت‌های کشورهای قدرتمند و افکار عمومی جهان را علیه آن برانگیزد. اقدامی فاجعه‌بار که به نظر می‌رسد تا کنون نتیجه‌ی عکس داشته و جمهوری اسلامی و گروه‌های تروریستی نیابتی آن را زیر ضرب قرار داده است.

سوئلا براورمن وزیر کشور بریتانیا که مسئول تحریم گروه‌های تروریستی است، اعلام کرده که سپاه بطور رسمی در لیست گروه‌های تحریم‌شده از سوی این وزارتخانه قرار گرفته است. چنین اقدامی عضویت افراد در سپاه یا حمایت از این سازمان را به عمل مجرمانه و غیرقانونی تبدیل می‌کند.

جیمز کلورلی وزیر خارجه بریتانیا نیز اعلام کرده بسیاری از هدف‌هایی که از قرار دادن سپاه پاسداران در فهرست گروه‌های تروریستی به دست می‌آید، به وسیله تحریم‌هایی که اکنون برقرار است تأمین شده است.

در همین ارتبابط سخنگوی وزارت خارجه بریتانیا گفته است: «سیاست آمریکا برای حمایت علنی از تروریستی اعلام کردن سپاه جدید نیست. با این حال، این یک تصمیم مستقل است و در حالی که به عنوان یک گزینه همواره مطرح است اما در حال حاضر موضع دولت بریتانیا نیست.»

وی افزود که از سوی بریتانیا «سپاه پاسداران نه تنها بطور کامل تحریم شده، بلکه تعدادی از افراد این گروه نیز بطور شخصی تحریم شده‌اند.»

با اینهمه یک منبع نزدیک به وزارت خارجه بریتانیا به «تلگراف» گفته است که آنچه منبع آگاه در نخست‌وزیری درباره گفتگوی خصوصی مقامات ارشد آمریکا با مقامات بریتانیایی گفته، «دارای ویژگی‌هایی نیست که ما به رسمیت بشناسیم.»

The “Telegraph” newspaper reported that following the “complicity” of the Islamic Republic in the massacre of 2021 people in Israel by Hamas, the United States wants the United Kingdom to include the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in its list of terrorist organizations.
– Liam Fox, the former defense minister of the United Kingdom, addressed the British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak about the need to immediately declare the Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization, saying, “Isn’t it time for us in this country to ask again: why the [regime] banks of Iran, Bank Saderat and Bank Do they operate outside of London? They were involved in transferring money to Hamas. Why does Iranair operate out of Heathrow Airport? And why haven’t we banned the IRGC? I believe we should do this.”
However, a source close to the British Foreign Ministry has told “Telegraph” that what the informed source in the Prime Minister said about the private conversation between senior American officials and British officials, “does not have characteristics that we recognize.”

The administration of Joe Biden explicitly asks its allies to put the Revolutionary Guards, a security terrorist organization linked to the Iranian government, on the list of terrorist organizations.

Some sources reported that senior US officials had “privately” encouraged their British counterparts to put the IRGC on the terrorist list.

In this regard, Matthew Miller, the spokesperson of the US State Department, said: “This is a position that we have made clear many times. They finance terrorist activities… We think that other countries should include the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the list of terrorist organizations.” These public statements were made at a briefing in Washington.

Last week, several Conservative MPs in the UK publicly called on British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to take action.

Robin Simcox, head of the UK’s Countering Extremism Commission, said it was “unsustainable” for members and supporters of the group to remain legal.

Former British Defense Secretary Liam Fox said about the need to immediately declare the Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization: “If we want to maintain our influence in the region, Britain must not be left behind.”

Addressing Sunak, he said: “Isn’t it time for us in this country to ask again: Why are Iran’s [regime] banks Saderat Bank and Melli Bank operating outside of London?” They were involved in transferring money to Hamas. Why does Iranair operate out of Heathrow Airport? And why haven’t we banned the IRGC? I believe we should do this.”

Senior members of Hamas told the Wall Street Journal that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces cooperated with this group. Ali Fadavi, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, has also said: “The strikes of the Resistance Front against the Zionist regime will continue until this cancerous tumor is eradicated from the world map.”

Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen wrote in an article for the Telegraph: “The Ayatollah regime supports Hamas militarily, financially and politically. The Iranian regime is fomenting the war and is trying to open another front in Lebanon against Israel through its other proxy, Hezbollah… All of them are trying to destroy Israel to enable [the] Iranian [regime] to take over the entire Middle East. And the Islamic Revolution can spread its militancy towards the Mediterranean, Europe and the whole world.”

These warnings come at a time when Rishi Sunak has also warned that Israel is facing a threat from Lebanon’s Hezbollah.

After meeting with the leaders of Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the Palestinian Authority, Sonak wrote in “Telegraph”: “This massacre was instigated by an evil hatred. The massacre was fueled by the fear that a new dawn might begin in the Middle East, leaving behind old hatreds and bringing hope for a better, safer and more prosperous life throughout the region. On this trip, I was determined to keep alive the hope for a better future.”

Analysts believe that Hamas has launched such an unprecedented and criminal attack in order to prevent the fulfillment of the “Abraham Pact” and to establish normal relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia, in order to force Israel to react strongly, and in this way, the governments of powerful countries and the public opinion of the world to incite against it. A disastrous action that seems to have had the opposite result so far and the Islamic Republic and its proxy terrorist groups have beaten it.

Suella Braverman, the British Minister of the Interior, who is responsible for sanctioning terrorist groups, has announced that the IRGC has been officially included in the list of groups sanctioned by this ministry. Such an action turns people’s membership in the IRGC or supporting this organization into a criminal and illegal act.

British Foreign Minister James Cloreley has also announced that many of the goals achieved by placing the Revolutionary Guards in the list of terrorist groups have been achieved by the sanctions that are in place now.

In this connection, the spokesperson of the British Foreign Ministry said: “The policy of the United States to publicly support declaring the IRGC as a terrorist is not new. “However, this is an independent decision and while it is always an option, it is not the UK government’s position at this time.”

He added that “not only the IRGC has been completely sanctioned by Britain, but also a number of people of this group have been personally sanctioned.”

However, a source close to the British Foreign Ministry told “Telegraph” that what the source in the Prime Minister’s office said about the private conversation between senior American officials and British officials “does not have characteristics that we recognize.”
