حجم سرمایه‌گذاری عربستان سعودی در آمریکا بیش از ۸۰۰ میلیارد دلار است و مشخص نیست مقامات جمهوری اسلامی بر اساس کدام واقعیات و داده‌ها محاسبه کرده‌اند که توافق آنها با تهران بر روابط ریاض و واشنگتن تأثیر عمیق خواهد گذاشت!
یحیی رحیم‌صفوی فرمانده سابق سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی و مشاور علی خامنه‌ای روز یکشنبه ۲۱ اسفند در یک سخنرانی در ستاد فرماندهی هوانیروز ارتش در لویزان گفت، «ما در شرایط فوق‌العاده پیچیده و سیال مسائل دفاعی امنیتی قرار گرفته‌ایم.» وی تأکید کرد: «انقلاب اسلامی در غرب آسیا و سلسله مراتب قدرت در جهان در گذار ژئوپلیتیکی است.»
رحیم‌صفوی نگفت منظورش از «گذار ژئوپلیتیکی» چیست اما مدعی شده «آنچه در آینده در منطقه شاهد آن خواهیم بود از آنچه تا کنون گذشته است متفاوت خواهد بود.»
وی توافق امنیتی بین جمهوری اسلامی و عربستان را که اخیراً با میانجیگری جمهوری خلق چین امضا شد ناشی از «عقلانیت و سیاست» خواند و با این ادعا که «دوران افول و پایان هژمونی آمریکا و صهیونیست‌ها فرا رسیده» افزود: «نگاه به همسایگان و نگاه به شرق باعث افزایش وزن ژئوپلیتیکی ایران و گذار وضعیت مردم از شرایط فعلی خواهد شد.»
مشاور علی خامنه‌ای با بیان اینکه «ایران باید از این وضعیت تنش آمریکا و اروپا در اوکراین و تنش تایوان به عنوان یک فرصت نگاه کند» گفت: «باید بر اساس منافع مشترک با چین و روسیه و تهدیدات مشترک آمریکا علیه سه کشور با یک استراتژی مشخص حرکت کنیم.»
رحیم‌صفوی در بخشی از صحبت‌هاش به آنچه خود به عنوان چشم‌انداز وضعیت دنیا در آینده ترسیم کرده اشاره نمود و گفت: «توافق با عربستان با میانجیگری آمریکا زلزله در حوزه سیاسی و پایانی بر هژمونی آمریکا در منطقه بود و با این توافق دوران پساآمریکا در منطقه خلیج فارس شروع شده است.»
وی توضیح داد: «چینی‌ها تصمیم دارند تا ۲۰۳۰ اقتصاد اول جهانی شوند و این توافقنامه بین ایران و عربستان با وساطت چین دومین ضربه بزرگ چین به آمریکا بود. چرا که عربستان بزرگترین منبع تامین‌کننده نفت چین است و از طرف دیگر توافق راهبردی چین با ایران برای سرمایه‌گذاری در توسعه زیرساختهای ما هم یک توافق بزرگ بود.»
رحیم‌صفوی با استناد به همین فرضیات تأکید کرد: «چین با یک استراتژی مشخص حوزه ژئواکونومیک خود را از دریای چین به خلیج فارس گسترش داده است و با روسیه کمک می‌کنند تا عربستان عضو سازمان همکاری شانگهای شود که این پیوند می‌تواند در آینده به عنوان سدی در مقابل ناتو و قدرت نظامی غرب ایفای نقش کند.»

رحیم‌صفوی در حالی ادعا کرده جمهوری اسلامی هژمونی آمریکا و اسرائیل را بهم زده که دو ماه پیش از این در انتقاد به ضعف نیروهای امنیتی در سرکوب خیزش ضدحکومتی مردم گفته بود «انتظارداریم نیروهای مسلح که بسیج و سپاه بازوان قدرتمند آنند، اجازه ندهند این حوادث به طول بیانجامد!»
وی اوایل اسفندماه نیز با اشاره به تداوم وضعیت بحرانی نظام گفته بود «در جنگ رسانه‌ای و فضای مجازی شکست خوردیم.»
