وزیر خارجه جمهوری اسلامی بعد از دیدار با جوزپ بورل برای مذاکره با غربی‌ها اعلام آمادگی کرد. آنهم پس از آنکه اسماعیل قاآنی فرمانده نیروهای قدس سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی در یک سخنرانی با اشاره به حمایت غربی‌ها از اعتراضات با بیان همیشگی مقامات جمهوری اسلامی گفت «پست‌فطرتی و نامردی در خصلت آمریکا، اروپا و تفاله‌هایشان در منطقه نهفته است و دست به کارهای تاکتیکی پست می‌زنند».
یک کارشناس مسائل سیاسی در ایران به ایرنا می‌گوید «آلمان سیاست‌های آمریکا را دیکته می‌کند» و «سلطنت‌طلبانی را که در این کشور حضور دارند تحریک می‌کند» و راهپیمایی علیه جمهوری اسلامی راه انداختند!
در همین ارتباط، امانوئل ماکرون در مصاحبه با روزنامه لبنانی «النهار» گفته جمهوری اسلامی گوش شنوا ندارد!
او در این مصاحبه که جمعه ۲۳ دسامبر (دوم دی‌ماه) منتشر شد، تاکید کرد: «متقاعد شده‌ام که نمی‌توانیم برای مشکلات لبنان، عراق و سوریه راه حلی پیدا کنیم مگر در چارچوب کاهش نفوذ منطقه‌ای جمهوری اسلامی ایران.» وی تأکید کرد که رژیم ایران گوش شنوایی برای مذاکرات ندارد و در مقابل دیگر طرفین مذاکرات رویکرد صادقانه اتخاذ نمی‌کند.
وی همچنین گفت که مسائل عراق، لبنان و سوریه فقط در چارچوب کاهش تأثیر حکومت ایران در منطقه قابل حل است.

برخی تحلیلگران داخلی ادعا می‌کنند «اروپا از مواضع خود عقب‌نشینی» کرده است اما حسین شریعتمداری مدیرمسئول «کیهان تهران» در یادداشتی با عنوان «آقایان به کجا چنین شتابان؟!» با اشاره به حمایت دولت‌های غربی از اعتراضات و تحریم‌های گسترده علیه مقامات و نهادهای سرکوبگر رژیم از مقام‌های وزارت خارجه جمهوری اسلامی پرسیده «آیا در مواضع رسماً اعلام شده از سوی آمریکا و انگلیس و فرانسه و آلمان کمترین تردیدی هست؟ اگر تردیدی نیست- که نیست- با توجه به موارد یاد شده، از مذاکراتی که در پی انجام آن هستید، چه انتظاری دارید؟! و کدام دستاورد را دنبال می‌فرمایید؟! در اعلام رسمی و علنی آمریکا و ۳ کشور اروپایی درباره مذاکرات چه دیده‌اید که برای از سرگیری مذاکرات اعلام آمادگی کرده‌اید؟! آیا نتیجه مذاکرات را بیرون از آنچه حریف به صراحت بر آن تاکید ورزیده است ارزیابی می‌کنید؟!»
اینهمه نشان می‌دهد که تبلیغات و نمایش آغاز مذاکرات از سوی وزارت خارجه جمهوری اسلامی حتا داخل حکومت هم خریدار ندارد! دو روز پس از توهم و ادعای چرخش اروپا در ارتباط با مذاکره با جمهروی اسلامی، دولت آلمان اعلام کرد که بخش مهمی از روابط تجاری خود را با ایران به حالت تعلیق در می‌آورد.
در اروپا فضای سیاسی و اجتماعی نه تنها به شدت علیه جمهوری اسلامی است بلکه بطور همه‌جانبه گسترش نیز می‌یابد.
پارلمان هلند در مصوبه‌ای خواستار تروریستی اعلام شدن سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی از سوی اتحادیه اروپا شد و از دولت هلند خواست از این موضع دفاع کند.
یوهان وادِفول نماینده پارلمان آلمان در توییتی درباره خشونت افسارگسیخته جمهوری اسلامی در سرکوب اعتراضات نوشت «رژیم ایران از روش‌های وحشیانه استفاده می‌کند. ما فرا خوانده شده‌ایم تا در کنار زنان، مردان و کودکان شجاعی چون حسن فیروزی و خانواده‌اش در ایران بایستیم.»

پیش از این، حکومت با تبلیغات در مورد «مذاکره» روند افزایش قیمت ارز را تا حدودی کنترل می‌کرد اما اینبار این ابزار بی‌نتیجه بوده و در بازار آزاد ایران دلار به ۴۰ هزار و ۵۰۰ تومان رسیده است.
در این میان، دیوید بارنئا رئیس موساد در اظهاراتی گفته ملایان از خیزش مردم هراسیده و غافلگیر شده‌اند. او می‌گوید: «اعتراض‌ها فروکش نکرده و تبدیل به بزرگترین معضل ملایان شده است.»
خبرگزاری رویترز نیز در مقاله‌ای به تحلیل خیزش سراسری در ایران پرداخته و نوشته است ایران وارد یک «روند انقلابی» شده و شواهد نشان می‌دهد این خیزش در سال ۲۰۲۳ که در راه است گسترده‌تر می‌شود و برای حکومت بحران‌های عمیق‌تری ایجاد می‌کند.

All this shows that the advertisement and display of the start of negotiations by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic has no buyers even within the government! Two days after the illusion and claim of Europe turning around in connection with the negotiations with the Islamic Republic, the German government announced that it will suspend an important part of its trade relations with Iran.
In Europe, the political and social atmosphere is not only strongly against the Islamic Republic, but it is also expanding comprehensively.
In a resolution, the Dutch parliament demanded that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps be declared a terrorist by the European Union and asked the Dutch government to defend this position.

Previously, the government controlled the increase in the price of the currency by advertising about “negotiation”, but this time this tool was ineffective and the dollar has reached 40,500 tomans in the free market of Iran.
