حمله تروریستی علیه شهروندان اسرائیل توسط عوامل سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی در قبرس خنثی شد

شورای امنیت ملی اسرائیل اوایل سال ۲۰۲۳ هشدار داده بود که قبرس و یونان کشورهایی هستند که رژیم ایران احتمالاً یهودیان و اسرائیلی‌ها را در آنجا هدف قرار می‌دهد. این کشورها علاوه بر داشتن جوامع مهاجر نسبتاً بزرگ، از مقاصد پرطرفدار گردشگران اسرائیلی به شمار می‌روند.

سرویس‌های اطلاعاتی قبرس با همکاری آژانس‌های امنیتی اسرائیل و آمریکا این توطئه را خنثی کردند.

در این گزارش آمده است که عوامل سپاه قصد داشتند از بخش شمالی قبرس که تُرک‌نشین است برای حمله استفاده کنند. آنها چندماه زیر نظر سرویس‌های اطلاعاتی قبرس بودند.

یک مقام که نام وی اعلام نشده گفته است که خنثی شدن این توطئه نشان داد که قبرس اجازه نخواهد داد در چنین منازعاتی در خاک آن کشور «حفره امنیتی» ایجاد شود.

منابع اسرائیلی اکتبر سال ۲۰۲۱ نیز اعلام کرده بودند که توطئه رژیم ایران علیه تجار اسرائیلی در قبرس خنثی شده است. بر اساس گزارش‌ها، فردی که قرار بود اقدام اخیر را انجام دهد، اصالتاً اهل جمهوری آذربایجان بوده و با پاسپورت روسی تردد می‌کرد.

مقام مسئول قبرس با بیان اینکه نیکوزیا با وجود ابراز نارضایتی از مواضع جمهوری اسلامی ایران، در نظر دارد تمامی کانال‌های ارتباطی و تفاهم را با تهران باز نگه دارد، گفت: «این کشور در درگیری‌های منطقه‌ای دخالت نخواهد کرد.»

مخالفان جمهوری اسلامی و برخی مقامات غربی در تلاش‌اند تا سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی در فهرست سازمان‌های تروریستی اتحادیه اروپا قرار گیرد.

جوزپ بورل مسئول سیاست خارجی اتحادیه اروپا اما اوایل بهمن ۱۴۰۱ گفته بود قرار گرفتن سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی در فهرست تروریستی نیازمند حکم قضایی دادگاه‌های اروپایی است.

گروهی از وکلای ایرانی- فرانسوی اواسط خردادماه با ارسال گزارشی به دبیرخانه شاهزاده رضا پهلوی اعلام کرده‌اند دولت‌های اروپایی هیچ مانع قانونی برای افزودن سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی به فهرست سازمان‌های تروریستی اتحادیه اروپا ندارند.

شاهزاده رضا پهلوی با اشاره به دریافت این گزارش، از مقامات اروپایی خواست در مواضع خود در مورد سپاه پاسداران تجدید نظر کنند. وی تأکید کرد «لیست‌گذاری این نهاد که نه برای حفاظت از ایران یا ایرانیان، بلکه در خدمت قدرت دیکتاتوری قرار دارد، بیانگر تشخیص قوی واقعیت، که مدت‌هاست انتظار می‌رود، و نشانه‌ی حمایت از هموطنانم خواهد بود که برای آزادی و دموکراسی در کشورمان مبارزه می‌کنند.»

A Cypriot official stated that despite expressing dissatisfaction with the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Nicosia intends to keep all channels of communication and understanding with Tehran open, saying: “This country will not interfere in regional conflicts.”

Israel’s National Security Council warned in early 2023 that Cyprus and Greece are countries where the Iranian regime is likely to target Jews and Israelis. In addition to having relatively large immigrant communities, these countries are among the most popular destinations for Israeli tourists.

The intelligence services of Cyprus, in cooperation with the security agencies of Israel and the United States, thwarted this plot.

It is stated in this report that IRGC operatives planned to use the northern part of Cyprus, which is occupied by Turks, for an attack. They were under the surveillance of the Cypriot intelligence services for several months.

An unnamed official said that the foiling of the plot showed that Cyprus will not allow such conflicts to create a “security hole” on its territory.

Israeli sources announced in October 2021 that the plot of the Iranian regime against Israeli businessmen in Cyprus had been foiled. According to reports, the person who was supposed to carry out the recent act was originally from the Republic of Azerbaijan and traveled with a Russian passport.

The opponents of the Islamic Republic and some Western officials are trying to put the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on the list of terrorist organizations of the European Union.

Josep Burrell, the head of the European Union’s foreign policy, said in early February 1401 that the inclusion of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the terrorist list requires a judicial ruling from the European courts.

A group of French-Iranian lawyers have sent a report to Prince Reza Pahlavi’s secretariat in mid-June, stating that the European governments have no legal obstacle to add the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to the list of terrorist organizations in the European Union.

Referring to the receipt of this report, Prince Reza Pahlavi asked the European authorities to reconsider their position regarding the IRGC. He emphasized, “The listing of this institution, which is not for the protection of Iran or Iranians, but serves the dictatorial power, shows a strong recognition of the reality, which has been expected for a long time, and will be a sign of support for my compatriots who are fighting for freedom and democracy in our country.” ”
