از دیروز در کلاب‌هاوس و اسپیس توئیتر نیز بسیاری با تشکیل اتاق‌هایی پیگیر وضعیت دانشجویان هستند و نسبت به وقایع اطلاع‌رسانی می‌کنند. شمار زیادی به عدم درک حاکمیت از اهمیت دانشجویان نخبه و همچنین وضعیت متزلزل رژیم اشاره کرده و می‌گویند حکومت سطل زباله و شیشه بانک را سرمایه کشور حساب می‌کند ولی دانشجویان را سرمایه‌ی مملکت نمی‌داند.
آنگونه که «انجمن اسلامی شریف» در گزارش مفصل خود درباره وقایع یکشنبه ۱۰ مهرماه توضیح داده، نیروهای امنیتی و گارد ویژه با استفاده از باتوم تعدادی از دانشجویان را زخمی و شمار زیادی را بازداشت کرده‌اند و با تفنگ‌های پینت‌بال به سوی دانشجویان گلوله‌های ساچمه‌ای و پلاستیکی نیز شلیک کرده‌اند.
در حمله به دانشجویان دانشگاه صنعتی، لباس‌شخصی‌ها و بسیجی‌ها با باتوم چنان یک دانشجو را مورد ضرب و جرح قرار داده و به سر او کوبیده‌اند که می‌بایست به بیمارستان منتقل شود.
بر اساس گزارش «انجمن اسلامی شریف»، دانشجویان که به سمت ورودی دانشگاه حرکت می‌کردند، متوجه بسته شدن درهای دانشگاه و قرار گرفتن در محاصره نیروهای امنیتی و لباس‌شخصی شدند. در این وضعیت تمامی کوچه‌ها و خیابان‌های منتهی به این دانشگاه را نیروهای لباس‌شخصی با ون‌های امنیتی قُرُق کرده بودند تا دانشجویان را دستگیر و به بازداشتگاه منتقل کنند.
طبق این گزارش، مسئولان دانشگاه و حراست دانشجویان را به پارکینگ «شریف» هدایت می‌کنند تا وارد خیابان تیموری شوند و سپس از محل خارج شوند ولی درهای پارکینگ نیز بسته بود و نیروهای امنیتی در محل حاضر بوده و به سوی دانشجویان شلیک می‌کنند. در این گزارش در توضیح وضعیت آمده است که نیروهای سرکوبگر «با شلیک گلوله‌های پلاستیکی و ساچمه‌ای از فاصله نزدیک و مخصوصاً به سمت دخترها، آنها را از حرکت باز می‌دارند و با خشونتی بربرگونه، دانشجویان را دستگیر می‌کنند و سوار ون می‌کنند».
گفته می‌شود، در پارکینگ دانشگاه حداقل ۳۰ تا ۴۰ دانشجو دستگیر شده‌اند و وضعیت و نهاد بازداشت‌کننده نیز مشخص نیست. فضای امنیتی بطور کامل بر دانشگاه حاکم بوده و پس از خروج دانشجویان از پارکینگ و وارد شدن به محوطه دانشگاه، نیروهای امنیتی «به صورت گزینشی»، دانشجویان را «از جمعیت بیرون می‌کشند و با خود می‌برند».
وزیر علوم دولت «قاضی مرگ» حتی با علی شریفی‌زارچی از اساتید مدافع دانشجویان نیز برخورد ناشایستی می‌کند و او را «بی‌وجدان، بی‌اخلاق، خیانت‌گر، بازی‌کننده با احساسات جوانان و منحرف‌کننده دانشجویان از صراط مستقیم» خطاب می‌کند.

وی با تاکید بر اینکه «دانشجویان فرزندان ما هستند»، به والدین آنها اطمینان داد که حال دانشجویان خوب است و نباید تحت تاثیر کارخانه دروغ‌پردازی رسانه‌های بیگانه قرار گیرند!
خبرگزاری‌های حکومتی «تسنیم»، «فارس» و «ایرنا» در گزارش‌های خود از حوادث ۱۰ مهرماه دانشگاه «شریف» با محتوای یکسان که به آنها «بخشنامه» شده، جوّ را «آرام» خوانده و نوشته‌اند که با حضور وزیر علوم در دانشگاه و مذاکره‌اش با نیروهای پلیس موضوع حل شده و دانشجویان از محل خارج شدند.
